BLUE REVOLUTION (Documentary)
’Blue Revolution’ is the story of a group of Dodger fans efforts to remove Frank McCourt as owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 2011, Frank McCourt, dragged the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team into bankruptcy. For this group of fans, that was the last straw. They began organizing protests outside of Dodger Stadium and called for the boycott of attending Dodger games. Their efforts contributed to Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig’s decision to force the sale of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Through fan interviews and protest footage, ‘Blue Revolution’ demonstrates what it means to be a fan and the importance of a sports franchise to a community.
